About Elle, MD

Gina El Kattan is a founder, operator, and ecosystem leader with deep experience in mission-driven business building and commercialization. She is the founder of Nuba, a beverage company that partnered with small-scale women farmers in Southern Egypt to bring traditional herbal drinks to markets across North America, and later appeared on Dragon’s Den. Gina holds an MBA from Duke University and currently serves as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Spring Activator, where she supports diverse founders through coaching, program design, and capital readiness initiatives. She is also a sessional lecturer at the University of Toronto, teaching entrepreneurial strategy. 

At Elle, MD, Gina leads business development, partnerships, and commercialization strategy, supporting fundraising efforts and long-term market growth with a strong focus on equity-driven and regenerative economic models.
