Our Biotechnology

No more hormone side effects.

No more barriers to enjoying sex.

Just safe, convenient, worry free birth control.

For years, hormonal contraception has been the only reliable, reversible method on the market that doesn't cause painful periods or reduced sensation during sex.  And let's be clear, the advent of hormonal contraception has led to unbelievable progress in women's advancement and prosperity.  Contraception has been called one of the most life saving and poverty reducing innovations ever created.

But hormones impact health.

Hormonal birth control has been linked to an increased risk of heart attack, stroke, certain cancers, liver disease, autoimmune disease, major nutrient deficiencies and even suicide [1,2,3,4,5,6].   Many women also report symptoms of weight gain, nausea, mood changes, irregular bleeding and reduced libido.

Sex without sacrifice.

We're developing The Better Ring to provide a non-hormonal, highly effective form of birth control that doesn't cause unwanted side effects.

Please note, we believe in, "Your body, your choice".  Hormonal contraception may still be the right option for many women.   We want to ensure individuals have all the information, options and access they need to make an informed decision about the method of contraception that works best for them.  If you are someone with potential to become pregnant and would like to understand your options, please contact your health provider to learn more.
